Emptying caches
In order to optimize the search for pages through the WEB, some caches may be set on your computer or even in your institution. The result may be that actual current page may not be shown on your browser. This is especially annoying when a site is updated regularly. People may still complain that the site contains errors, even when it has been corrected. The only solution is then to empty the caches.
In order to empty all caches, please conform to the following procedure:
- In Netscape choose Preferences, Advances, Caches, then empty both
memories.
- In Internet Explorer choose Tools, Internet Options, Delete Files
and click on Parameters. There you can see where the temporary
files are stored. You should then erase the full
directory.
